our poor abbie girl!

Friday afternoon I noticed quite a bit of "gunk" in abbie's eyes. The started seeping a green puss and didn't stop. It became increasing worse and worse until about 8 I decided that she needed to be seen by a dr. I loaded the others in the car and headed to Children's Close to Home on East Broad. Her little nose wouldn't stop running and just as soon as I would wipe her eyes (with a huge fight from the girl) they would fill up again.

The Dr. visited and immediately said it was one of the worst cases of Conjunctivitis (pink eye) she had ever seen. She said in Abbie's case it was bacterial and possibly from her allergies. She wrote a script and we were on our way. The concern is how contagious it is. It appears now that we are in the clear. She is MUCH, MUCH better and she is allowing us to put the drops in her eyes with just a little hesitation. Jelly beans always make everything better!
