Sean only gets one day off this week. The other finance manager is on vacation which leaves sean to work. He bribed one of the guys from Chevy to work with him today with a Gap gift card.
We decided to run some errands this morning. I wanted to check out Best Buy for a new camera, monitor and new phones for the house. We were total impulse buyers as they had a wii system as well as the wii fit that is sold out everywhere and we had to have it. We also bought a extra controller and mario cart. Seriously, we hadn't even discussed buying one. Sean had a bunch of gift cards so that helped the cause.
When we arrived home there was a message on the machine from Mr. Sullivan, the assistant Principal at I.T. (koles school) He said that I needed to call him as Kole has had a rough day.
When I spoke to him he proceeded to tell me that Kole wouldn't take his test and became loud and distruptive and they had to clear the classroom because he wasn't safe. He would only settle down for Mrs. Brunney.
After that incident he was on the playground. (why was he playing during recess you ask after exhibiting such behaviors? got me!) He became upset with another boy while playing soccer and he tackled him, choked him, scratched and punched him. I am horrified. I am so so horribly sorry that my son has behavied in such a terrible manner. I can't imagine how the little boy and his family must feel.
Kole has been suspended from school for the next two days. Thursday and Friday he will be home with me all day, alone. To top it off he will be home Saturday and Sunday and then Monday is a holiday so he will be home then as well. 5 days straight with NO break for me.
Sean and I have discussed his punishment. Now mind you he responds to NOTHING. However he has lost all tv, leapster and activity privilages. He will also not be able to attend field day at school which is next Friday.
On a lighter note Lanee earned ANOTHER 100% on her spelling test Friday!!

Erin,
I just wanted to tell you how dreadfully sorry I am that you are dealing with so much angst regarding Kole. My nephew is the same...just a few years older. He has been through so many doctors, therapists, schools, treatments, medications...it affects everyone in the family. I'm praying for you and your family, for strength and healing. I have no words of wisdom, but I can tell you that you aren't alone.
