I bought a new point and shoot yesterday. Couldn't resist. I wanted a smaller one and this one is it! It is about the size of my cell phone. It is 10 megapixels and has a 5 times zoom. I love it so far. It is cool! Nothing will replace my D200 but it is a portrait camera. It is VERY large and heavy. I don't always like to drag it around with 4 children.
I am going to give Lane my old Coolpix. I want her to start learning so it will be perfect for her. I am going to allow her to take it to school during the last week to take photos of her friends. Then she can start scrapping her own photos too!

my 3rd. a middle child of sorts. she is my entertainer, my broadway performer. my lover. she has a smile that is contagious. she is such a joy that pushes her limits! we kid about her horns...they are hidden by all that hair! she loves her bubbies and sissy more than anything. daddy far outranks her mama.

sweet, sweet lane. my second baby, a middle child of sorts. she is drama, she is thoughful and kind. she asks entirely too many questions that she knows the answers to. she smiles all the time. she is so creative, she is an artist. i call her my "little mommie" as she is so helpful! she has been through so much in her young life. i treasure her and couldn't live without her for a minute.

it even has a smile sensor. it won't take a shot until everyone is smiling. how odd is that?
