I had a meeting at the school today. It was with the "school team" that we have in place for kole. They are a AMAZING group over there. I am overwhelmed by the genuine concern and compassion that they have for my son. These people truly care about his well being. Teachers are special, special people and I have been so blessed this year with such a wonderfully caring team. We sat for over an hour and a half writing a addendum to his current IEP. We have determined that he will no longer be categorized as "other health impairment " but as "emotional disturbance" which believe it or not is what we wanted. His teachers have been rooting for one particular teacher when he moves buildings next year and it appears with the new "label" that he will be with her.

It was a super draining but productive meeting.
