Sean and I took the babies to Slate Run this week for a picnic and a trip to the farm. I hasn't been since either of the babies were born so they were experiencing everything for the first time, daddy too!
Abbie loved turning the corn into cornmeal. We couldn't drag her away from there. We saw a pig as large as some of the cows. He was crazy fat!

Hi. I'm a volunteer at Slate Run Farm. My family started visiting when my daughter was about the same age as your younger girl. When she was six we started volunteering there (she's 11 now and still loves going to the farm.)
I really enjoyed seeing your photos and I'm happy to hear your enjoyed your visit. It's a wonderful place to spend time with family.

It has lots of animal pictures, monthly articles written by the farmers, baby animal updates, the latest schedule of activities and lots more information and is updated frequently.
In fact, the enormous pig that you saw this week, is actually expecting piglets any day now. Once she delivers, you can get updates on the babies at the "Baby Animal" page on our website.
