Sean and I took the babies to the fair last week. When I was in school we had the a 5 days off of school for "fair week." I hadn't been for years, probably since my senior year. It is a warm feeling with the small town feel and Mt. Pleasant overlooking the grounds.
It was a beautiful day. Couldn't have asked for better. We ate a bunch of junk, Brody had his first taste of caramel and cotton candy. (Please refrain from calling Children's Services, they already know our number! ;)
Abbie throughly LOVED the pony ride. She grinned ear to ear the entire time and couldn't stop talking about it the remainder of the day.
What else would the Johnson's do at the fair? Well, play putt-putt, of course. DOH! Sean was like a kid in a candy store. Abbie was so excied, she would jump for joy and yell "I did it mama, I did it, when she would make her putt!

We went on Sunday..first time since my senior year of high school, too! :) And, I saw the putt-putt and wondered who in the world would go to the fair and play putt-putt. Guess I know now!! LOL! :)
BUNNIES! And Abbie...and Brody! I can't take the cute :)
i love your pics. love the knit hats. love abbie's face - she is purely joyful!
my favorite? the one of abbie on the ground. classic abigail :)
Aw, what great pictures! Looks like a good time was had by all!
Abbie is so friggin' cute I cannot stand it. I was like, "Dave! You have to see Erin's little girl. She makes me happy!" Now he thinks that I am strange :)
did you go to the little photo button booth to have a buddy button made, because it just wasn't a trip to the fair without one. or someone throwing a quarter at someone else telling them to call someone who cares or riding the Round up a dozen and a half times and going home feeling like we were going to puke.
did you stop by the LU booster booth for old time sake and get one of those awesome chicken sandwiches?
Looks like you all had a great time!
