Halloween sleepover

I feel like so often Lane gets put on the backburner of sorts. She is such a good girl. Good listener, helper and all around laid back kid. With so much of the attention on Koley and the babies I wanted her to have a night all about her! Her party was the weekend of the 18th on a Saturday after her last game. The girls arrived after Lane asking 100 times when they would be there. She was out of school on the Friday before and I certainly put her to work! We baked and cleaned and crafted. She told me that "parties are a ton of work mama, but worth it!"

We baked cupcakes and dipped pretzels in chocolate and then covered them in cool Halloween sprinkles. We unwrapped, melted and dipped caramel apples. Our very own that we picked the week before.

She helped with the witch cupcaked by icing them and adding the eyes and nose. We couldn't find chocolate cones so we covered those in chocolate too!

She was giddy when her friends arrived. I didn't quite know what I was in for! We of course, went outside for photos! We played the mummy game with tp. We had two teams and two minutes to create the best mummy.

We all curled up on the couch and watched Monster House and then Sean and I headed to bed. About 12:30 I told them to "wrap it up" nicely. At two I came down and told them that it was time to go to bed. At 10 til 3 I was a bit more monsterous!! I was beat! They finally crashed and got up at 8. Crazy girls!!
